CapeCodes is a nine year project inspired by a three month workshop hosted by BUSH RADIO in the City of Cape Town, South Africa. Its focus is on Live Modern Audio Drama in the tradition of classic radio drama presentations of the past century.

The nature of modern live Audio Drama gives all generations the opportunity to participate. Our current work specifically engages youth from 13 to 30 years of age; we are open to, and have done workshops with all age groupings in South Africa and various countries around the world.

This WEB site will give witness and act as an entry point into a world of diverse cultural experiences designed to stimulate creative expression in the areas of:

• Acting for the Microphone
• Public speaking and performance
• Sound effects - recorded and live
• Music
• Fine art
• Script writing for radio and beyond
• Mime

Our goal is to set an atmosphere in which One can release Ones own magnificence
